We are committed to sustainable coffee and tea cultivation, as well as the preservation of the rainforest. Thereby we want to ensure the protection of the species living in it and work closely together with "World Land Trust". A part of the sales of our Fairtrade brand Puro is used to buy endangered rainforest areas and to establish conservation reserves. According to current figures (2nd quarter 2017), the area of our Puro reserves amounts to approx. 12,638.7 hectares in meanwhile nine reserves

The company Miko Kaffee GmbH, based in Altdof near Nuremberg, is a subsidiary of the Miko Group from Turnhout in Belgium, which for over 200 years now (since 1801) operates one of the oldest coffee roasting companies in the world.
